A blog of appreciation

This blog will be a bit different. There are many people to be thankful for at this time. This blog will list those people.

Nurses and doctors: These people have had to work long hours and from word of mouth I know that many of these people have been working in areas that they have never worked in before.
Shop workers: I believe that shop workers have not got enough appreciation through this time. These people have been responsible for making sure everyone can still get food and there is even a job in shops that did not exist beforehand and that is monitoring how many people are in a shop at any given time although I have been told that a shop nearby has introduced a traffic light system to control this. That wasn't always the case.
Factory workers: Factory workers have also been responsible for making sure we get the things we need or want, whether that's getting food out to shops or items that we were only able to get online.
Truck drivers: These people are also important for the above, whether that's transporting goods from the factory to the shops or driving items that we couldn't go and get.
Teachers and nursery workers: Although the schools and nurseries were closed for most children, for a while teachers and nursery workers still had to work to look after the children of key workers and vulnerable children and they had to do this throughout the holidays as well.
Care workers: I belive care workers have an especially hard job at the moment as they have supported those who are most vulnerable especially as care homes have been considered to be high-risk places.
People that work on technology: I used to say that working on technology wasn't an important job compared to others but the lockdown would have been far worse without it.
